The End of Senior Year!

For anyone who is curious about what I've been up to for the past month or so, here are a few highlights from the end of my senior year in high school:

  • Choir Tour in Disneyland
  • Senior Prom
  • Graduation

Choir Tour ~

In April, the Pleasant Grove High School choirs took a trip down to California for our tour.  It was such an amazing experience.  Performing in Disneyland has always been a dream of mine and it was a lot of fun to be able to sing there.  All of our choirs did really well in the competition.  Most of our choirs placed in 1st place in their divisions and Chamber Choir won Best Overall Choir!  Being a part of the Chamber Choir this year was an amazing experience, and our performance at the festival was...magical?  We all felt so happy afterwards.  The way our audience responded to our performance made us feel like stars.  I'll never forget that night.  The bus rides were so fun, especially on the way home.  It was so fun to relax all day on a bus with so many of my friends, going around, playing games, watching movies, eating food, and just talking with friends.  I've been to Disneyland so many times with my family, it was so fun to be there with many of my best friends.  Food in Disneyland is delicious, I love so many of the rides, and I loved the World of Color.  This last year we had annual passes to Disneyland and we have been many times this year.  Our passes are now expired and choir tour was my last trip to Disneyland in a while.  On the last night it was hard to leave, Disneyland has become a second home.  I will miss it till I return.  Choir tour was a great way to finish off a year of Disneyland.

I was so happy that my Mommy agreed to come. Thanks Mom! Love you.

Prom ~

I had an amazing experience at Prom with one of my best friends, Jake Packer.  He asked me while we were in Disneyland in a really sweet and thoughtful way.  The date itself was awesome too.  Our group consisted of me, Jake, Andre, and Rachel.  It was perfect.  The boys thoughtfully surprised me and Rachel with homemade pineapple whips. :)  It was delicious!  We had a lot of fun taking pictures, then we went to Olive Garden for a fantastic dinner.  It was so fun to be able to sit and talk with my great friends over dinner.  I loved it.  The dance was so much fun too, and I am so grateful that I got to go with such great friends, especially my wonderful date.  Thanks for everything Jake!

Me and Rachel - I love this girl so much.
